LightZone 2.4 for Linux has just been released!
This release matches the 2.4 version of LightZone on Mac and Windows. Linux users have been waiting for new releases since January, but it seems as the wait was well worth it! Release 2.4 adds exciting new features and fixes some bugs and things that didn't work in previous releases.
Here are some of the biggest changes:
New tools, including a "RAW Adjustments" tool that controls how RAW conversion is performed; a revised ToneMapper that "re-lights" images; and a redeye correction tool.
Support for new cameras: Nikon D40, Pentax K10D, and Fuji S9000.
A translation into Italian, provided by Paolo Caporro; and a translation into Polish, provided by Jacek Góźdź. (Anyone interested in volunteering to do another language, just write.)
Probably fewer bugs. In particular, batch export crashes much less, and printing is more likely to succeed on non-PostScript printers.
